About Adam
Adam Johns started in broadcast television as a production assistant and worked his way through the control room: tape, studio camera, audio, graphics, technical director and, eventually, director. Along the way he ran a live truck, shot ENG, mixed live sound and recorded local artists, and edited on everything from tape-to-tape to Avid, Final Cut Pro and Premiere, including four years as a producer/editor for an advertising company. He has worked as a 1st AD and camera operator on features, episodic and reality television, engineered and shaded cameras on live shows, and spent four years as a lab instructor and alternate course director teaching lighting, power distribution, grip and rigging. Today he directs cameras for large corporate events, where all of it comes into play.
